In Tuscany, Le Andande (also called White Souls or Maenads) are a procession of ghosts who wander the countryside roads and the cities. Most of the time they ignore whomever they meet, too occupied in atoning their guilts or overwhelmed by the injustices they suffered. Sometimes meeting them causes horrible frights, delusions and fevers which can consume you until death (source: Draghi, streghe e fantasmi della Toscana).

In this short game it's up to you to survive and understand: because, sometimes, a ghost is just a ghost. Other times, they're the trace of something we can't get over with.

Note well: this project has been created during our first participation to a game jam. Since we like to make our own life complicated, we've also added the challenge to build a narrative without using any word.

In Toscana, Le Andande (chiamate anche Anime Bianche o Menade) sono processioni di spettri che si aggirano per i sentieri di campagna e nelle città. Il più delle volte ignorano chi le incontra, prese a espiare le loro colpe o sopraffatte dal senso di ingiustizia.  Ma ci sono occasioni in cui incontrarle provoca terribili spaventi, delirii e febbri che consumano fino alla morte (fonte:  Draghi, streghe e fantasmi della Toscana).

In questo breve gioco sta a te riuscire a sopravvivere e a capire: perché a volte un fantasma è solo è un fantasma. Altre, è l'impronta di qualcosa che non riusciamo a superare.

Nota sul gioco: il progetto è nato durante la nostra prima partecipazione a una game jam.  Giusto perché ci vogliamo bene, ci siamo sfidatə nel costruire una narrazione senza utilizzare alcuna parola.
